Description: This cat is inspired by the history of the Maricopa peoples! Native Americans of Maricopa County Arizona. Since I absolutely LOVE Arizona, this Kitty will be dressed in symbols of the Maricopa Peoples-my kitty will have gorgeous blue eyes and Eagle feathers on her head. The feathers are also my new trademark-as for my Owl from 2017-“Indigenous” wore them on his head.

About the Artist: I have been painting and creating Art since I was a very little girl, folling in the footsteps of my parents, sisters, and aunties. I used to seek solitude and peace by going down to cellar and pulling out paints and brushes and creating, or turning on the stereo to Simon and Garfunkle and sewing for hours. My love for animals, birds, all things nature, help to inspire a lot of my work. I am in LOVE with Arizona and plan to be moving there in 2018. I currently have 3 dogs, (2 Boxers and a Rat terrier) and 1 kitty (a Tortie Cream named Seraphina, after my 2 Uncles Seraphino,) in my life. My favorite things that keep me busy are my pets, my painting, and I took up Tatting in 2016.
