About the Artist: Jesse Bidwell is a Coxsackie native. She lives there with her son, Nate, and is a caterer Panera Bread in Glenmont. She has volunteered for multiple things over the years, but her main passion is the Coxsackie Riverside Festival. She has been involved and is co-chairperson since 2009. She remembers going to the festival when she was a child and how it focused on family and fun for all. Jesse and her son, Nate, are a part of the committee that wants to keep the tradition going for the future generations.

Jesse was one of the artists picked the first year of Coxsackie’s “What a Hoot” in 2017, when they introduced the owls to paint into the community. She had made three owls for the community to display for the past 2 years and is excited to extend it to the Cairo Bears this year. She believes New York State is one of the most beautiful places in nature to see and explore. The beauty of Greene county and history is like no other, to be able to express it through art and with animals is a great honor.
