About the Artist: Carol Lernihan, retired science teacher and nurse entrepreneur is a self-taught folk artist working in many mediums and styles. Many works have appeared in juried and invitational show in N.Y.S. and in public art spaces in Albany, Glen Falls, Cairo, the Mountain Towns and in northern New Jersey. Belonging to many art and fiber arts groups in upstate N.Y. and in N.Y.C. has given her a wide range of materials and avenues to both teach the folk arts and to employ techniques in her own art.
