About the Artist: Jennifer DeAngelis studied art and design at the College of New Jersey. Although she considers fine art photography her first love (some of which has been displayed at the Greene County Council on the Arts Catskill Gallery), she also enjoys painting, especially custom pet portraits. Her public arts work has included Cairo’s Bears and Butterflies project (as Jennifer Van Ness), having created “Gone Fishin’,” “Born to Be Wild,” and “In the Garden” in 2009, along with “Windy Autumn” and “Tiffany” in 2010; from the Cat’n Around Catskill project, “Onyx” in 2015; “Gotham City Kitty” and “de Jardin” in 2016; “Tutankhatmun” and “Fall Frolic” in 2017.
