2021 Cat’N Around Catskill – Cat #5

“A Tail of Two Kitties” by Wendy Doney

Sponsored by: Bank of Greene County

Description: This cat is inspired by my love of two of our family cats, both tabby cats. Always hiding in the hostas, I was inspired to adorn the cat with plants that represent our current cat as well as tiger lily flowers representing our previous cat.

About the Artist: Wendy Doney has lived in the Catskills for most of her life, raised her family here and is vested in her community. She belongs to the Greene County Council on the Arts, the New York State Art Teachers Association, as well as the New York State Reading Association.

She has demonstrated her talents through the creation of eleven Catskill Cats to date for the Cat’n Around Catskill annual summer-long display.
