Description: Playful mice paint a Purple Pussycat inspired by the Gelett Burgess “Purple Cow” poem. Instead of “I never saw a purple cow. I never hope to see one. But I can tell you anyhow, I rather see than be one.” the mice write “I never saw a purple cat. I only hope to see one. But I can tell you just like that; I’d rather see than be one.” On previous art pieces, goofy mice nibbled on “The Big Cheese” in 2015 and field mice had a field day on “Cat-o- Lantern” in 2012.
